Here's what our exhibitors have had to say about exhibiting at the Australian
Games Expo:
"The draw of The Australian Games Expo is very simple. It's the
opportunity to meet face to face with the most important people in the
industry - the general public. There is nowhere else that one can one
meet so many people, demonstrate games and have fun. Well worth a trip
around the globe! Kudos to AGE on a fantastic success and we'll be back.

"The inaugural Australian Games Expo was an exciting event to
be involved with. It was great to see the hall packed with people playing
games, many of whom had not seen any euro style games before. It was
even more thrilling to overhear people talking with enthusiasm about
the game they were playing or had just played. With people coming from
all over Australia, it was also an opportunity to meet the many people
in the growing Australian games scene who I had until then only met
electronically. My only regret was that I had to spend the whole weekend
on the All Games Distribution stand and was not able to play more games.
But even that had its own rewards, showing our exciting range of games
to hundreds of people and showing many of them how to play them for
the first time. Fortunately I did manage to make it over the the Border
Gamers Club one evening and enjoyed several convivial hours there. Overall
a fantastic weekend. If you missed it you should certainly try to make
it next year."

"The AGE 2007 went beyond my expectation. I thought I would reach
perhaps a small number of gamers but was satisfied to know that hundreds
of gamers, at least, got to experience my games. It was also great to
interact with the several retailers and distributors present, making
my journey to Australia a complete success.
The show was well run and the backwalls that came with the booth made
the whole show, and its exhibitors, look very professional.
I look forward to attending again."

"This was my first time to exhibit where the public were invited
and the response for our business was so over the top, we were literally
taken back by the public's interest still in board games. I now have
no doubt that the board game market will continue to grow in the post
9/11 world where interaction and quality time together now means more
than ever. Thank you Phil for inviting us to exhibit, I am so glad I
did. Well worth the effort."

"I was delighted that I was able to coordinate the timing of one
of my regular business trips to Australia to coincide with the First
Annual Australian Games Expo in Albury.
The show had strong attendance and great energy. Getting the chance
to watch that many people - families, kids, teens, and young adults
- being exposed to and playing a great variety of games, both new and
old, was very gratifying to someone involved in this industry. I applaud
the AGE organizers and expect to see this show become a regular destination
for more and more game fans down under in the years ahead. "

"What a weekend we had! The expo is a great forum for puzzlers
and gamers to feast until their hearts are content. As a supplier to
the industry, it is so important to get people hands-on with the games
and puzzles, this AGE certainly did that. Already looking forward to
2008!!"

New Zealand), Mind

"Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent job you did with
the games expo!
We had a fantastic time and I thought there was a great atmosphere over
the whole weekend.
I sold 22 of the 24 copies of my game that I brought along, and loved
seeing so many kids and families have fun with it.
I also made some really helpful contacts, so all in all it was a great
success for us.
Can't wait until next year!"

"This year's expo is an example of how a council can help the
organisers of an event ... without having to pour in buckets of cash."

"Thanks a million for the opportunity to show my board game, Casino
Millennium Millionaire. I was hoping that you could book me in for next
